| It's real clear. Almost no one in the entire San Luis Valley knows about the Solar Reserve Corporation's plans to put monstrous 82 story tall concrete towers next to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, endangering local wildlife and changing the character of our valley forever. Since the local media haven't really alerted the public, we're hoping a person to person approach might... Here are seven ways you might get involved: 1. Attend the Saguache County Commissioners' meetings when approval of these abominable centralized industrial solar projects are being discussed. We think that probably the fix is already in, but maybe with the weight of yours and your friends' opinions in person, we could together change the decision to approve them. 2. Prepare written comments and submit them to the Saguache County Commissioners. These written opinions don't have to be fancy -- just your own feelings sincerely and respectfully stated. Read our comments here, if you wish. or download the .pdf file here. 3. Write letters to the editors of your local newspapers. Organize your Facebook friends and ask them to do the same. Send emails expressing your opinion to our Saguache County Commissioners, our State Representatives and Senators and our National Congressional Members and Senators. You could even send an email to our own "Approve 'em all! Damn the laws, men! Full speed ahead!" Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar. 4. If you wish, print and distribute business cards. We'll make it really easy with this automatic business card generator.
 5. If you wish to print and distribute petitions, here is a petition form you can print.
  6. You can also print flyers, if you wish, and distribute them. In the alternative, if you dont like any of the posters shown below, you can print either the front or back of the flyer and use it for a poster!
7. Put up a sign on your property like we did. It is to be sincerely hoped that you are better at this than we are!
8. And here are nine different posters you might print and post in your area -- the post office, restaurants, schools, etc.
Roll over each to see it larger and to select it for printing.
